Green Bay and Seattle are locked in a defensive struggle at Lambeau.

After 30 minutes of play at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks are locked in a defensive struggle. The Seahawks lead 3-0 on a 33-yard Blair Walsh field goal on the last play of the first half.

That score came after Mike McCarthy took some questionable timeouts late in the half, with the Seahawks pinned deep in their own territory. A first down by Seattle with under 40 seconds left gave them a bit of momentum, and two plays later they were in field goal range.

All in all, however, the Packers’ defense has been stellar, holding Seattle to just one first down prior to the final series of the half. As it stands, the Packers have still outgained Seattle 152 total yards to 99, with 12 first downs to Seattle’s four.

The Seahawks did intercept Aaron Rodgers once, however, on the Packers’ opening drive. That play was returned for a touchdown by Nazair Jones, but an illegal block in the back penalty and a personal foul on Jeremy Lane negated the return and the score.
