It is going from bad to worse for the Green Bay Packers early on in Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Packers were already missing a pair of starters on offense, as tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga were listed as inactive for the game. However, the team’s best defensive player — defensive tackle Mike Daniels — suffered a hamstring injury on the first series of the game. Daniels was listed as questionable to return by the team.

On the opening defensive series, the Packers let the Falcons drive down quickly and take a 7-0 lead, as Devonta Freeman punched in a short touchdown run.

The Packers have just four defensive linemen active for this game, as rookie Montravius Adams was also inactive. If Daniels cannot return, the Packers will need to rely on the trio of Kenny Clark, Dean Lowry, and Quinton Dial. Thankfully, the Packers primarily use a two-man line in their base nickel and Nitro packages, meaning they would have three players to rotate through.

UPDATE: The Packers announced that Daniels will be out for the rest of the game.
