The inactives list announced prior to the Green Bay Packers’ Sunday contest with the Atlanta Falcons contained both starting tackles, Brian Bulaga and David Bakhtiari, as well as backup Jason Spriggs. So...uh...who’s in at tackle?
The game starts and Atlanta easily drives down the field including two passes to Julio Jones for 19 and 34 yards. Deja vu.
The Packers answer back with a drive of their own capped by a Ty Montgomery touchdown! Followed by a...no. It couldn’t be. A 3-and-out by the Falcons?
The Packers answer with a 3-and-out of their own. The Falcons march down the field again. It’s 14-7.
Another short drive forces Justin Vogel to boot it 47 yards. Falcons get another field goal. 3:27 remains in the half.
With 1:09 remaining the half, the Packers get the ball back on their own 5 yard line. A triumphant effort by Randall Cobb is wiped out by an Offensive Pass Interference call on Martellus Bennett for performing a “Pick Play”.
Aaron Rodgers throws an interception two plays later on a pass intended for Geronimo Allison. There are 47 seconds left, the Falcons have the ball on the GB 36, and they have two timeouts. Of COURSE they score a touchdown.
The Falcons’ touchdown was brought on by their own “Pick Play”. Mike McCarthy isn’t happy and lets the referees know. He gets an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty.
The second half opens with Aaron Rodgers attempting to throw the ball away. It is ruled a fumble (even though the NFL Rule book EXPLICITLY defines what happened as an incomplete pass free from intentional grounding rules). Atlanta returns it for a touchdown. The score is now 31-7.
Both teams trade field goals. It is still impossible to feel anything.
Aaron Rodgers throws a touchdown to Davante Adams. Atlanta’s win percentage remains at 99.9%.
With 5:51 remaining, Rodgers flips one to Montgomery for his THREE HUNDREDTH TOUCHDOWN PASS! HE HAS DONE IT FASTER THAN ANY QUARTERBACK IN HISTORY AND WITH FEWER INTERCEPTIONS!

Atlanta chews four minutes off the clock and the Packers fail to mount a comeback. Final score 23-34.
The Packers are now 1-1 and will be heading home to face the Cincinnati Bengals next week. That’s been enough football for the week...
