Packers’ Final* 53-Man Roster for 2017: Who made the team past the initial roster cuts

On Saturday, several hours after the deadline at 4:00 PM Eastern, the Green Bay Packers finally revealed their initial 53-man roster.

The team has a remarkably unorthodox makeup from a positional breakdown standpoint, keeping ten offensive linemen, four tailbacks, and seven cornerbacks.

Without further ado, here is the official 53-man roster.

OFFENSE (25)

Quarterbacks (2): Aaron Rodgers, Brett Hundley

Running Backs (5): Ty Montgomery, Aaron Ripkowski, Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones, Devante Mays

Wide Receivers (5): Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Trevor Davis, Jeff Janis

UPDATE Sunday 9/3: The Packers lost two players — Taysom Hill and Brian Price — to waivers. They also claimed OLB Chris Odom on waivers from the Atlanta Falcons, but have not yet revealed the corresponding roster move that makes room for him on the 53-man roster.
