It’s time for football! In a few minutes, the Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals will get underway from Lambeau Field, squaring off in their every-fourth-year matchup of teams from the North divisions of opposite conferences. The Bengals have gotten the best of the Packers in each of the last three meetings, which means that the Packers have not beaten Cincinnati in almost two decades.
That last Green Bay win came in 1998, when they won 13-6 at old Riverfront Stadium (which at the time was called Cinergy Field).
This week, both teams will be missing key players as they head out onto Lambeau Field for an early-season matchup. The Packers are missing some key defensive players, while the Bengals will not have the services of Tyler Eifert and John Ross, among others.
