On Thursday night, the Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears in the latest edition of the most-played rivalry in the NFL.
For Packers fans, this game could mark a special occasion. The all-time series is tied up, something the Packers accomplished in week fifteen last year. If the Packers can find a way to win this week, it would be the first time that Green Bay has a lead in the rivalry all-time since 1932.
This week’s game will feature Color Rush uniforms, as has become the league’s custom on Thursday Night Football. It is expected that the two teams will don the same uniforms that they wore when they played on Thursday in week seven of last season; this would have the Packers in all-white threads with the Bears in full navy getup.
As a final notable point, this will be the second game in five days for the Packers at Lambeau, with both of those games being called by CBS’ top announcer pairing of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo.
