APC Week 4 NFL Picks: Believing in the Packers despite injuries at tackle

New, comments

Our writers still think the Packers can emerge victorious tonight.

NFL: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

In week four, the Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football, the teams’ third game in just 12 days. The Packers are of course hobbled by injuries, and face massive questions at the offensive tackle position.

However, when making our picks, the writers of Acme Packing Company feel that Green Bay will be able to overcome the expected absences of David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga. The Packers remain a unanimous pick this week as a result.

Here are our picks for week four’s games around the NFL.

In week three, everyone had a brutal performance with all the upsets happening around the NFL. Only two writers picked double-digit correct games: Jordan Smith at 11-5 and Bob Fitch at 10-6. Meanwhile, four writers plus our consensus picks were under .500 on the week.

Jordan’s week vaulted him into the overall lead with a hit percentage of 70.2% so far (33-14), with Kris in second at 68.1% (32-15).
