College Football Week 5 Schedule: Clemson-VT headlines mediocre slate

Although we are now getting well into the start of conference play around college football, we have yet to have many must-watch matchups pop up on the schedule thus far. This week is much the same, with top teams starting off the year with conference foes that are likely to finish the season closer to the bottom of the standings.

In light of this, the one top-15 matchup of the day will take center stage, with ESPN College Gameday traveling to Blacksburg, Virginia for the game between #2 Clemson and #12 Virginia Tech.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin fans will look for the Badgers to avenge a heartbreaking loss to Northwestern at Camp Randall two years ago, as the Wildcats return to Madison. Last year, Wisconsin won in Evanston 21-7, their first win over Northwestern on the road since 1999.
