Each year, the NFL invites a number of prospects to attend the upcoming NFL Draft. Several years ago, that group was limited to a small number of players, those who were widely expected to be drafted in the very first few selections.
As the years have gone on and the draft has become a three-day, prime-time event, the number of players attending has increased, and the 2018 NFL Draft will feature an impressive number of players. 22 prospects from 19 schools will be in attendance at this year’s event, which is held in Arlington, Texas.
Among those players are several who are expected to be potential targets for the Green Bay Packers with the 14th overall selection. Defensive backs Minkah Fitzpatrick, Derwin James, Josh Jackson, and Denzel Ward are all coming, as well as edge rusher Marcus Davenport and linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Roquan Smith.
