As we have done in the past here at Acme Packing Company, this year for the Super Bowl we are holding an informal contest revolving around prop bets for the big game. This year’s game features a five-point spread, as the New England Patriots are favored over the Philadelphia Eagles.
This year’s props include many typical props — things like what color of Gatorade will be poured on the winning coach or how long will the national anthem take. We have a few other oddities this year, however, including a couple of items about Justin Timberlake’s halftime show and what the first penalty of the game will be.
Last year, we tried to account for the odds of each bet, but this year’s contest will simply be 22 different props, chosen straight up without any accounting for odds. As usual, there’s no prize beyond the eternal admiration of the APC community.
