Packers vs. Rams, Week 8 2018: Second half game updates & discussion

The Packers lead the Rams 10-8 at the half.

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

After 30 minutes of play from the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams are locked in a tight contest. The Packers jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead, thanks to big plays from Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, but a questionable playcall by Mike McCarthy near his own goal line set up a Rams’ safety and LA scored on the ensuing offensive possession.

A Jared Goff touchdown pass to Josh Reynolds put the Rams within striking distance of a tie, but the Packers stopped up Todd Gurley’s run on the two-point conversion attempt to keep the Packers ahead by a score of 10-8.

The Packers got their touchdown on a one-yard Jamaal Williams plunge, then followed that up with a 41-yard field goal from Mason Crosby. Aaron Rodgers has completed 7 of 13 passes for 127 yards through one half.

The Rams get the ball first to start the second half. Join us here as we follow along with the game in the third and fourth quarters.
