Aside from a long flight home from the West coast, the Green Bay Packers get a normal week of rest this week as they prepare for next Sunday night’s game at the New England Patriots. Their opponents, however, will be on a short week as they are in Buffalo this evening to play the Bills on Monday Night Football.
New England has won three straight against the Bills, and has not lost in Buffalo since 2011, giving them a six-game winning streak when playing in upstate New York. Tonight we are likely to see more of the same, with the teams sporting mirror records and the Bills having scored a combined 31 points over their last four games.
For the Packers, an ideal result here would be that the Bills play a tough, physical game and at least make this a contest for a few quarters. But with the Pats being anointed as two-touchdown underdogs and Derek Anderson set to start under center, this writer isn’t counting on it.
Tune in for tonight’s game and follow along with us here at APC.
