With one quarter of their season in the books, the jury is still out on much of the Green Bay Packers’ defense.
One thing that has become crystal clear however is that defensive tackle Kenny Clark is emerging as a bona fide stud.
Clark is becoming a dominant force along the defensive line alongside fellow dominant force Mike Daniels. He moves offensive linemen with ease and ranks near the top on the team in every category a defensive lineman can fit on.
For those who have watched Clark last season going into 2018, this is hardly a surprise. Clark started coming on in his rookie year and has shown growth each and every season.
The line might still be Daniels’ domain but he’s got a tremendously talented sidekick. Though the Packers did lose Mo Wilkerson for season, they’re still in good hands with Clark
You can read more on Clark’s emergence and who those who want Mike McCarthy fired would replace the coach with in today’s cheese curds.
A lot of people saw this coming, but former general manager Ted Thompson’s penultimate first round draft pick is looking more and more like a home run with every game.
Those who have visited Lambeau Field recently have noticed all the new development surrounding the stadium. The second phase of the project is now ready to kick into gear.
So say McCarthy gets fired at season’s end. Zach Kruse throws out a couple names and this writer would wholeheartedly endorse either of them.
We’ve seen this story before. Except at that time, McCarthy wasn’t squarely on the hot seat. Is there something to this? We’ll likely never know.
