Monday Night Football, Week 10: 49ers and Giants fight for the bottom of the NFC

Monday Night Football used to be the night that teams were excited about. The prime time games on Monday were the NFL’s biggest viewership draw for decades until a handful of years ago, when Sunday night became the league’s biggest stage instead.

Now, MNF gets a handful of divisional matchups as well as some truly ugly games. Tonight’s is one of the latter, and it’s the second time in five weeks that the San Francisco 49ers play on that night of the week. Tonight, the 49ers and New York Giants battle to see who will claim the bottom spot in the NFC for the coming week.
