When the Green Bay Packers land (or landed) in Seattle on Tuesday evening, they will have left four key starters at home. The team flew out for their game against the Seattle Seahawks two days in advance, but due to injuries — a few of which were suffered during Sunday’s 31-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins — they won’t have a full complement of players with them.

According to multiple media reports, the four missing players are safety Kentrell Brice, outside linebacker Nick Perry, cornerback Kevin King, and wide receiver Randall Cobb, all of whom have been effectively ruled out for Thursday night’s game. The four players were non-participants in the team’s light Tuesday practice, which ensured that they would not be cleared to play in the midweek battle.

Brice and Perry were injured on Sunday and did not return during the game, while King was injured the week prior. Cobb played two Sundays ago against the New England Patriots, but sat out last week’s game with the hamstring problem that has been nagging him for much of the season.

Joining these four as non-participants were tight end Jimmy Graham and guard Lucas Patrick, both of whom missed Monday’s practice as well. However, linebacker Blake Martinez and cornerback Bashaud Breeland did practice, suggesting that the two should be ready to go on Thursday. Both will be sorely needed with those two position groups needing their veteran presences.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks had just one player sitting out of practice on Tuesday: linebacker K.J. Wright, who has been limited recently with a knee injury.
