APC Week 12 NFL Picks: Can the Packers right the ship in Minnesota?

APC is split once again, but gives the Packers the smallest of margins.

Are we crazy?

Somehow, Acme Packing Company’s writers still believe in the Green Bay Packers’ ability to right the ship this week. Facing a difficult environment in Minnesota on Sunday night, the Packers effectively have a make-or-break game against the Vikings in a game that has a +/- 40% swing for both teams’ playoff chances.

It’s one of three massively important games in the NFC this week, and Ben Baldwin of The Athletic illustrates:

With such a critical game for both teams, APC is predictably split on the results of Sunday’s game. However, once again, we find the blog split 7-6 in favor of a Packers victory.

As for the games on Thanksgiving Day, our writers are much more consistent in their picks. We see little dropoff from Mitchell Trubisky to Chase Daniel in Chicago, and a large majority of us have the Bears beating the Lions in the early game.

The same can’t be said for another quarterback injury, with Colt McCoy replacing Alex Smith in Washington. APC is unanimous in picking the Cowboys to win in the afternoon game, and we also see no contest in Saints-Falcons, with a sweep for New Orleans.
