The Green Bay Packers will be operating with a skeleton crew of cornerbacks this evening when they suit up for action against the Minnesota Vikings. A pair of key players at that position have been deactivated for tonight’s game: veteran Bashaud Breeland and second-year pro Kevin King.
That will leave the Packers with four true cornerbacks healthy and active for today’s game: Jaire Alexander, Josh Jackson, Tony Brown, and Will Redmond. However, the team might be able to move Tramon Williams back to the boundary for portions of tonight’s game, since safety Kentrell Brice has returned from injury and is in the lineup. Any further injuries at the safety position would be difficult to deal with, however, as Raven Greene joins Breeland and King on the inactive list.
Mike Daniels is also out for tonight’s game as expected, which paves the way for more snaps for Tyler Lancaster and Montravius Adams in his spot.
On offense, the Packers are once again going to be without Randall Cobb, whose hamstring injury has cost him another game, but tight end Jimmy Graham is active despite breaking his thumb ten days ago in Seattle. Look for the Packers to give more snaps to Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis, however, to help ease Graham’s workload.
Minnesota, meanwhile, ruled four players out on Friday, including starting safety Andrew Sendejo and key linebacker Ben Gedeon.
Here are all of tonight’s inactives for both squads.
