As expected, the Green Bay Packers are almost entirely healthy and at full strength for Sunday Night Football. The New England Patriots, however, are not.
The Patriots were reportedly “concerned” about the availability of starting tight end Rob Gronkowski and running back Sony Michel on Sunday morning, and those concerns were validated in warmups. Both of those players are inactive for tonight’s game, leaving the Packers’ defense with better matchups across the board. They will join right guard Shaq Mason in street clothes, as the starting offensive lineman was ruled out on Friday.
For the Packers, only one player — wideout Geronimo Allison — has been scratched due to injury. Punter JK Scott will play tonight despite the signing of Drew Kaser; it appears that the expected arrival of his new baby will not take place tonight. Also active for the Packers is cornerback Bashaud Breeland, who will suit up in Green and Gold for the first time. Keep an eye out to see how he is deployed — whether that is at safety, outside corner, slot corner, or some combination of those positions.
Here are the full inactive lists for both teams.
