Packers vs. Patriots, Week 9 2018: First Half game updates & discussion

Join us for the first half of Packers-Pats here.

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve had one magnificent, classic game already today, as the entire nation watched the New Orleans Saints beat the Los Angeles Rams at the Superdome. Now it’s time for the other premier matchup of the day, as the New England Patriots host the Green Bay Packers.

The Tom Brady-Aaron Rodgers storylines have been all over this week, as the two legendary number 12s take the same field for just the second time as starters. Rodgers and the Packers of course won the only previous meeting in 2014 by a score of 26-21, so Rodgers will be looking to repeat his marvelous performance in that contest.

The Pats will not have three critical offensive starters in tonight’s game, however, most notably tight end Rob Gronkowski. Also joining him on the inactive list are running back Sony Michel and right guard Shaq Mason, which should make for some better matchups for Mike Pettine and the Packers’ defense.

Join us here for the first half of tonight’s contest as we cheer the Packers on to victory. Go Pack Go!
