The Green Bay Packers saw a pair of starters get injured in the second half of last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Luckily, both David Bakhtiari and Lane Taylor were able to suit up this week as the Packers play the Arizona Cardinals.
However, two of their linemates on the opposite side of the line have suffered injuries of their own early on in Sunday’s game. Right guard Byron Bell left the field early in the second quarter with an apparent right leg injury and was taken to the medical tent for evaluation. The Packers later announced that he is officially questionable to return with a knee injury.
A few minutes later, the Packers took a 7-0 lead on a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams. However, on the play, right tackle Bryan Bulaga was injured. He is also questionable to return with a knee injury.
This means that the Packers will trot out Justin McCray at right guard in place of Bell and Jason Spriggs will take the field at right tackle when the offense returns to the field. Stay tuned for further updates from Lambeau.
