Packers-Falcons Injury Report: Three starting OL uncertain for Green Bay

Bryan Bulaga looks like he is in the most danger of missing the game among these the three starters.

As has become the custom this year (and seemingly in many previous years), the Green Bay Packers have several players who will be game-time decisions for Sunday’s contest against the Atlanta Falcons. Also notable is the length of the Packers’ final injury report compared to that of their opponents; Green Bay has seven players with injury statuses this week, while the Falcons have just two.

Leading the headline is the fact that three of the Packers’ five starting offensive linemen are questionable or worse. Both guards, Lane Taylor and Byron Bell, received that designation while right tackle Bryan Bulaga is listed as doubtful with a knee injury and an unspecified illness. Expect to see Jason Spriggs lining up with the starters at right tackle barring a sudden comeback for Bulaga.

The Packers do have a pair of reserve interior guards who have dressed for most of their games when healthy this year in Justin McCray and Lucas Patrick. However, if Bulaga does get shut down, that would likely mean that undrafted rookie Alex Light would be active for the first time all season as an emergency option at tackle.

Also notable is the fact that three key defensive backs are on the report once again. Safety Raven Greene is officially out, while fellow safety Kentrell Brice and cornerback Bashaud Breeland are both questionable. In a positive sign, however, the latter two were estimated as full participants on Friday’s report, suggesting that they would have practiced completely had the team worked today. Therefore, both will likely be available barring any setbacks during warmups.

The final name on the report is long snapper Hunter Bradley, who was estimated as a limited participant for Friday after missing Thursday’s practice. He is listed as questionable as well.

The Falcons, meanwhile, have just two players on the 53-man roster with injury statuses. Tight end Logan Paulsen is out for Sunday, while kicker Matt Bryant is questionable after showing up as limited on Friday with a back problem. Also notable is the fact that wide receiver Julio Jones did not practice Wednesday or Thursday; however, he was limited on Friday and he did not receive an injury designation on the final report, so he appears to be planning to play.

Here are the full reports for both teams.
