It’s time.
Super Bowl LII is here, and the game featuring the NFC and AFC’s top seeds for the 2017 season promises to be an interesting one at the very least. The New England Patriots are the favorites, getting around five points at most legitimate sportsbooks around the country. Their opponents, the Philadelphia Eagles, have played up the underdog angle all postseason, as they have been home dogs in each of their two playoff games.
Much of the reason for that is the loss of starting quarterback Carson Wentz to a knee injury late in the regular season. However, Nick Foles has stepped up in his place, putting up a magnificent game two weeks ago in the NFC Championship against the Minnesota Vikings.
It all comes down to sixty minutes (or a bit more, as we saw last year in Super Bowl LI). This marks the third year in the last four that the Patriots are playing in the game, and they won both of the previous two in thrilling ways. Tune in to see if they’ll pull off another championship under Bill Belichick or if the Eagles’ stellar pass rush can lead Philly to their first title in the Super Bowl era.
