Tuesday was a day of travel for many members of the Green Bay Packers organization. A group of current and former players and team officials is on the road this week for the Packers’ annual Tailgate Tour, which is making stops all around the state of Wisconsin (and adjacent places as well).

Meanwhile, a certain quarterback was half a world away talking to one of the world’s most notable spiritual leaders. We’ll see if Rodgers can translate a zen mentality into success on the football field.

Matt Ryan: Contract talks moving in the right direction - NFL.com
Ryan has one year left on his deal compared to two years remaining for Aaron Rodgers, so it wouldn't be a shock to see the Falcons QB have his extension before Aaron does.

Then again, maybe the person Rodgers met on Tuesday will convince him to give up his earthly possessions in favor of seeking complete football enlightenment. Probably not, though.

Big hitter, the Lama.
