Packers players are not enjoying Wisconsin’s April snowstorm

New, comments

Thanks a lot, Mother Nature. These guys need to get back into town to start offseason workouts on Monday!

Wisconsin, and Green Bay in particular, are being hit with a mid-April snowstorm this weekend, and the players for the Green Bay Packers aren’t particularly excited about it. After all, it is April 14th — one would hope that spring would be here by now.

While the players had a number of different reactions to the storm, the first one came on Friday afternoon. The tone here seems like disbelief from safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix:

A few hours later, a pair of Packers offensive linemen were trying to fly back to Green Bay on Friday night for the start of the offseason program on Monday when they ran into weather delays in the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport:

As of Saturday morning, they were still stuck at MSP.

Kicker Mason Crosby seems like one of the few Packers who is trying to have some fun with the storm rather than complaining about it:

As for Davon House, this probably isn’t something he is excited about, since he recently flew back from Hawaii to Green Bay to sign his latest one-year contract with the Packers:

I think I might just stay home today.

Left guard Lane Taylor caught some video evidence of the snow as well:

It’s winter! ❄️☃️

Finally, we have DeAngelo Yancey’s photo as he attempts to make it to Green Bay:

Here’s hoping all of the players are able to make in to town by Sunday evening so they can show up on time for the start of offseason workouts on Monday.
