Today marks the third open practice of 2018 for the Green Bay Packers, as the team takes the field for another session of Organized Team Activities. The Packers will begin practice at 11:30 AM local time on a day that is expected to be great for watching some football — temperatures should be in the low 70s with partly cloudy skies.
The Packers get to work without Clay Matthews today, as he will be monitored after taking a line drive to the face in Saturday’s charity softball game. However, he had been a non-participant in each of the first two public OTA practices, so it was unlikely that he would have practiced today anyway.
After today’s practice, the Packers will have two more days of closed OTAs this week. Then the team has mandatory minicamp scheduled for next week, running from Tuesday through Thursday. Each day’s practice next week will be open to the public, though the team has often taken one day off in minicamp in the past for team-building activities instead.
Join us here as we follow along with today’s practice.
