Packers Training Camp 2018: Practice news, updates, & discussion for July 31st

The Packers are back at work again today hoping to avoid any bad news.

NFL: Green Bay Packers-Organized Team Activity Mark Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Two days on, one day off — that’s the schedule that the Green Bay Packers got to start this work week, their first full week of training camp in 2018. The Packers practiced on Monday and will take the field once again today at 11:15 before they have a day of off-field work on Wednesday.

And on Tuesday, the team will be hoping to avoid a repeat of Monday's practice, which left the team looking like a M*A*S*H unit. Although Mike Daniels returned to the field after leaving with a minor injury, Kentrell Brice and Jake Ryan were both carted off the field, apparently with very serious injuries. This already puts the depth at two positions up the middle on defense in question, with only young players around to help fill in if either misses significant time.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed for a clean practice on the injury front as the team looks ahead to a day off from on-field work on Wednesday.
