Packers Training Camp 2018: Live practice updates for August 2

The Packers have just two more days left until Family Night.

The Green Bay Packers get back to work on Thursday morning following a day off from practice on Wednesday, as preseason action finally pulls into focus around the NFL. This evening, the league kicks off its exhibition season with the Hall of Fame Game, pitting the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens against one another. The Packers, however, have another week to go until their preseason opener as they host the Tennessee Titans next Thursday.

Of course, Family Night is coming up sooner than that, as the Packers will practice inside Lambeau Field on Saturday evening in front of a packed house of fans. That event is sold out — as always — but should be a great time for players and fans alike.

Today, however, the Packers start their work at 11:15 local time, with a cool but dry day in the forecast. It should be a nice day for the players, though, and we’ll keep an eye on practice throughout the day thanks to the excellent work of the media covering the team live from Ray Nitschke Field.
