The big winner this weekend as far as the Green Bay Packers were concerned was of course Jerry Kramer. The legendary guard finally got his bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame after a wait of more than four decades. By all accounts, Kramer’s speech was an all-time great, which should come as no surprise to anyone who is familiar with him, his interviews, or his personality.
Meanwhile, the current Green Bay Packers were practicing at Lambeau Field in front of over 60,000 fans, and they got some great performances from a few young players under the lights. In today’s curds we’ll look at a few of those impressive moments, which should have Packers fans salivating over the potential of the defensive line even more.
Sure, the starting trio of Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, and Muhammad Wilkerson looks to be an elite group. However, there’s depth emerging here, and hopefully the players behind the starters can provide productive snaps in relief when called upon.
With the Packers’ preseason starting up this week, there are two more open practices — today and Tuesday — as the team tunes up to play the Titans on Thursday night.

DL Montravius Adams dominates during Packers’ scrimmage | Packers Wire
Adams dealt with a foot injury in camp last year that sapped much of his effectiveness as a rookie. Now healthy and stronger, he's impressing this summer and he had a great practice on Saturday.
Also, Kenny Clark did this to prospective starter Justin McCray:

Green Bay Packers linebacker Ahmad Thomas finds birth parents | Packersnews.com
This is a cool story; after years of not pursuing his birth parents, Thomas finally reached out to his biological mother several months ago. She tracked down his father and together they met Thomas and his wife in Green Bay this offseason; and now Thomas is chasing a roster spot with the Packers.

Coleman has been a bust so far in Cleveland, but he hasn't exactly had a sterling cast of quarterbacks throwing to him.
