GREEN BAY PACKERS FOOTBALL IS FINALLY BACK!
It’s officially preseason football time as the Packers host the Tennessee Titans for both teams’ exhibition openers this evening. No, we won’t see Aaron Rodgers throw the football at all (unless Mike McCarthy has some unexpected plans), but there should be plenty of interesting storylines to watch as the players battling for roster spots get their first taste of real game action.
Will a leader emerge between Brett Hundley and DeShone Kizer in the fight to be Rodgers’ backup? How will the Packers’ backup offensive tackles fare in light David Bakhtiari’s ankle injury and Bryan Bulaga’s gradual recovery from a torn ACL? Will Justin McCray take hold of the right guard job or will he leave a crack open for another player to emerge?
We probably will not get answers to all of those questions, and maybe none of them will be finalized, but we’ll have plenty to talk about a few hours from now.
Fans in Wisconsin and some surrounding areas can find the game on your local TV stations, while those outside the viewing area can stream online with NFL Game Pass. Click over to our Game Primer here for all the details.
