Welcome to football season everyone!

The Green Bay Packers kickoff their 2018 season tonight with their preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field. Today is the first chance for the rookie class and those on the roster bubble to show what they’ve got.

With there now only being one cutdown from 90 to 53 prior to week 1, there will still be three more chances for those looking to prove themselves.

As for the Packers, this will be the opening battle for the backup quarterback spot between DeShone Kizer and Brett Hundley. It will also be the first time we will get to see Jimmy Graham and Mo Wilkerson in a Packers uniform.

There will be other roster battles to watch as well. You can read about those and more in today’s cheese curds.
