Packers vs. Vikings, Week 2 2018: First half game updates & discussion

Hold your breath - Aaron Rodgers and his injured ankle are taking the field against a great defense today.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers Dan Powers-USA TODAY Sports

Are you ready for week two?

Aaron Rodgers’ knee is ready. Rodgers will be active for today’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings despite a knee injury that kept him out of practice most of this week. After suffering a left knee sprain in the second quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Rodgers returned after halftime and threw three fourth-quarter touchdowns as the Packers rallied for a 24-23 victory.

Today, he will be out on the field with the Packers’ offense once again, playing against the team that injured him a year ago and cost him more than half of the 2017 season. Is revenge on his mind? Only Rodgers can answer that question, but you can’t really fault him for having a little extra motivation in today’s game.

Join us for the game in the comments below, as we cheer the Packers on to what hopefully will be a 2-0 start. Go Pack Go!
