College Football Week 4 Schedule: Wisconsin-Iowa & Stanford-Oregon in primetime

College ball gets underway with some ranked games on Friday, but Saturday night has a few particularly intriguing contests.

NCAA Football: Wisconsin at Iowa Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

This week’s college football schedule gets underway with a pair of Friday night games featuring ranked teams - one of which involves a top ten team in its Big Ten conference opener. As we click over to Saturday, we then find a full slate of interesting games in the evening, including a ranked matchup in the Pac-12 with Stanford visiting Oregon.

Looking back to the Midwest to the Big Ten, Wisconsin travels to Iowa for a prime time game on the heels of a disappointing and frustrating loss to then-unranked BYU at Camp Randall Stadium. The Cougars now show up in at #25 in the AP poll, but it certainly appears that the Badgers — who fell from 6th to 18th — overlooked them and had their eyes set on this tough matchup with the Hawkeyes.

Only two games between a pair of ranked teams are on the schedule this week, however. The Stanford-Oregon game is the second, with an SEC battle between Texas A&M and Alabama kicking off on Saturday afternoon.

Here’s your schedule for the weekend, and enjoy the games!
