That was the most disastrous 30 minutes of football that the Green Bay Packers could have imagined. Not only did the Chicago Bears’ offense look creative and solid early on, but Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers’ offense was stagnant and insistent upon running on first and second downs, picking up just a single first down in the first quarter.
Then on the fourth offensive series of the game, disaster truly struck. On third and nine, Aaron Rodgers dropped back to pass and was sacked by Roy Robertson-Harris, who landed on Rodgers’ extended left leg. Rodgers eventually left the field on a cart and did not return by halftime — nor was there any update by the half.
The Packers now trail 17-0 after a Khalil Mack pick-six extended Chicago’s lead by another seven points. Join us for the final 30 minutes of the game if you dare.
