Week 6 NFL Picks: Packers will get back to beating Lions at home

The Green Bay Packers have lost twice straight at Lambeau Field when hosting the Detroit Lions. This year, that trend reverses as the green and gold will get back to their winning ways against that rival on home turf — at least so say APC’s writers.

This week’s NFL picks are in, and perhaps unsurprisingly, APC feels good about the Packers this week. They are favorites by four points in this week’s game, and they enter at 4-1, trailing only the 4-0 San Francisco 49ers in the race for the NFC’s top seed.

The Lions are no slouches this season either, however, sitting in second place in the division at 2-1-1. They are also coming off a bye week and will therefore have eight days more to prepare for this game than a team normally would on a Sunday-to-Sunday schedule.

Will that preparation time make a difference? APC’s writers unanimously say no. The entire batch of 12 contributors who are picking games this week have the Packers emerging victorious, even in light of a lengthy injury report.
