On Monday, the Green Bay Packers return to Lambeau Field for a prime-time matchup with the Detroit Lions. Mike Payton of Pride of Detroit kindly volunteered to predict the outcome of the game.

APC: Finally, it’s prediction time. Which team wins on Monday and why?

I’m sure your readers will call it the homer pick, but I’m going with the Lions to win this game. I think thus far they’ve displayed that they can play with any team in the league and they’re capable of making even the best quarterback have a bad day. They’ll also have Darius Slay and Quandre Diggs back after missing the Chiefs game and it looks like TJ Hockenson will be healthy too.

With questions about Devante Adams and so many other injuries for the Packers, it’s hard for me to not give the Lions the edge here. But Aaron Rodgers will definitely make this a very close game that the Lions will barely escape with a win.

We’d like to thank Mike. Be sure to check out the rest of our Q&A session with Pride of Detroit from earlier in the week as well as our Q&A session over there. As always, keep your internet machines tuned to Acme Packing Company this Monday for our comprehensive game-day coverage of Lions versus Packers.
