NFL Week 8 Sunday Schedule: Bears host Chargers, Lions face Giants

Sunday is here, and although Green Bay Packers fans will be waiting all day for their team’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, there are a few good NFL games on during the afternoon to entertain us throughout the day.

From another London game featuring one of the league’s preseason favorites to some intriguing matchups featuring other NFC North teams, it’s a solid day. Granted, most of this week’s games have fairly heavy favorites — eight games have point spreads of five points or more with five having a favorite of at least a touchdown — but these weeks are often when surprises can arise.

The Chicago Bears may have one of the more challenging games this week, as they host the Los Angeles Chargers in the early slate. The Chargers sit at just 2-5, but they appear to be much better than their record indicates after falling by a single score in every loss. Meanwhile, the reeling Lions host the Giants, who get some key offensive contributors back on the field this week.
