The Green Bay Packers Friday injury report saw some good news, with Davante Adams and Robert Tonyan being listed as doubtful and Darnell Savage being listed as questionable instead of being ruled out.
But come gameday on the offensive side of the ball, Davante Adams will not play after not practicing all week. He was a long-shot to play, so it is no surprise he is out. The rest of the wide outs have been playing well while he has been out, so the offensive should continue to thrive. Tonyan is out as well.
Thankfully, Darnell Savage will play for the first time since his ankle injury, which means the entire defense will be ready to go. After a tough couple of weeks, the defense will be at full strength, and a game against a back up quarterback is the perfect game to help get their groove back.
Packer fans in recent years have grown accustomed to reading a long injury report and inactive list week after week, so it is nice to see almost every starter is ready to go.
As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they will be without reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes after he dislocated his knee cap. All week there was speculation that he would play, fueled by him practicing with the offense, but ultimately he was ruled out. On the defensive side, the Chiefs are missing a few players. defensive end Frank Clark, tackle Chris Jones and cornerback Kendall Fuller will all be unavailable tonight. The offense should keep rolling after last week with the amount of starters missing on defense.
