This week marks the third straight game that the Green Bay Packers will play against an AFC West team, as they bring their inter-conference schedule to a close early in 2019. Green Bay sits at 3-0 against the AFC so far, with home wins over the Broncos and Raiders followed by a huge victory in Kansas City last Sunday night.
This week, the Packers are back on the road for their longest trip of the year, headed out to Southern California for a date against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bolts have disappointed this year, but they are coming off a road victory over the Chicago Bears last week and each of their five losses have come by a touchdown or less.
The Chargers also have Wisconsin native Melvin Gordon back on the field, having returned from his holdout a month ago. Gordon has been brought along gradually, carrying the ball just 11 times per game and playing around 50 percent of his team’s offensive snaps. Instead, Austin Ekeler has been the dynamic backfield player, leading NFL running backs in receiving yards and receptions with 51 for 507 and five scores.
Here is this week’s broadcast map and game primer.
