On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers travel to Jerry World to take on the Dallas Cowboys. David Halprin of Blogging the Boys kindly volunteered to predict the outcome of the game.
APC: Finally, it’s prediction time. Which team wins on Sunday and why?
I think the Cowboys will win. They are playing at home and they are coming off a loss that will have them fired up. I understand that the Packers are also coming off a loss and they are going to be ready to right the ship so to speak, and Aaron Rodgers always seems to stick a dagger in us, but this time I think the Cowboys come out on top. The Packers run defense has not been very good and when the Cowboys get their running game rolling, it’s very hard to stop them because you have to commit guys to the box and that opens up the play-action passing game where Prescott excels. If reports are true that Davante Adams won’t be able to go, that really takes a huge weapon off the field and tips the scales somewhat in the Cowboys favor. I don’t feel overly confident about this prediction, like I said I’ve seen what Rodgers has done to us before, but I think the Cowboys run game will dominate the run of play and be the difference.
We’d like to thank David. Be sure to check out the rest of our Q&A session with Blogging the Boys from earlier in the week. As always, keep your internet machines tuned to Acme Packing Company this Sunday for our comprehensive game-day coverage of Packers versus Cowboys.
