Are you looking for a good college football game this week? Well, we hate to break it to you but you really only have one option today. Georgia and Florida will meet in the World’s Biggest Cocktail Party this afternoon, but outside of that there really aren’t many notable games this Saturday.
In fact, six of the top ten teams are on byes this week, including the top three of Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State. That leaves Clemson as the highest-ranked team in action today, and they are playing FCS Wofford.
So in the afternoon, tune in for Florida-Georgia, which is a top-ten matchup for the second year in a row. However, the 2018 game was the first time since 2012 that both teams were ranked during the matchup and the first top-ten game since 2008.
The evening also has a game between ranked teams out in the AAC, where SMU and Memphis meet. That’s probably your best bet for a competitive game this evening, so strap in for some not-so-stirring football all day long!
