On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers will look to get back on track against a struggling opponent. Shaking off their struggles against the San Francisco 49ers will be at the top of the team’s minds, with a division title and the potential for a first-round bye still well within the realm of possibility.

Up this week are the New York Giants, a team that has gone 2-9 largely behind rookie quarterback Daniel Jones. The Giants surprised everyone in taking Jones sixth overall, but he has shown at least some signs of promise, posting a passer rating of 87.8 while throwing 17 touchdowns against 8 interceptions.

This game is in the early time slot on FOX, but it will be dwarfed by another huge game on the same network at the same time. That would be the 49ers’ road trip to play the Baltimore Ravens, a contest worthy of a later time slot or even a prime time flex, but one that was not a flex possibility due to the doubleheader and prime time rules.

Thus, the Packers-Giants contest will only be on in a handful of markets this Sunday, so fans outside of the upper Midwest and portions of New York and New England will have to find a bar with Sunday Ticket or other means of watching the game. Interestingly, this is the Packers’ second visit to MetLife Stadium in less than a year — they beat the Jets there 44-38 last December — but the first time they are playing the Giants there since 2013.
