On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers will travel east to take on the New York Giants. Ed Valentine of Big Blue View kindly volunteered to answer our questions about the Giants and provide some insight into their strengths and weaknesses.
APC: No. 6 overall pick Daniel Jones will make his 10th start this weekend. What have you seen from the rookie that offers promise for the future and what most concerns you about his performance?
Daniel Jones has done a lot of good things. He has made some beautiful throws, and I think he’s better than some draft analysts believed. He has toughness. He has mobility. Still, he is a rookie. He leads the league in fumbles, mostly because he has a tendency to hold the ball too long in the pocket. Like all rookies, he will force some throws. I think his future is bright, provided the Giants keep adding pieces around him.
We’d like to thank Ed. Be sure to check out the rest of our Q&A session with Big Blue View over the course of the week as well as our Q&A session over there. As always, keep your internet machines tuned to Acme Packing Company this Sunday for our comprehensive game-day coverage of Packers versus Giants.
