The Green Bay Packers are having a brutal day in California so far, as the team struggles to deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. At halftime of Sunday’s game, the Chargers lead 9-0 on the strength of a trio of field goals by Mike Badgley.
Green Bay’s offensive line has cost the team dearly so far in this game. Aaron Rodgers has been sacked twice and hurried repeatedly, and the line committed three false start penalties in the first half as the Packers struggled to deal with Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. Each of those two players has a sack as the Packers have just XX total yards of offense through 30 minutes.
On defense, the Packers are giving up chunks of yardage but found ways to get three stops in the red zone in the first half. The Chargers have 250 yards of offense to the Packers’ 50, as Green Bay has just three first downs, with one coming via penalty.
Keep it here for the second half.
