More is at stake in the week 16 matchup between NFC North rivals than at any other game between these two teams in several years. The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are both likely headed to the playoffs, with the Packers already clinched and the Vikings needing just one win or a loss by the Los Angeles Rams over the final two weeks to lock up a spot. But there are significant seeding considerations in this week’s game, as well as an opportunity for one of the teams to clinch a division title.

That would happen if the Packers win in this Monday night matchup, which would give them the division title and a home playoff game at the very least. In all likelihood, that would also give the Packers the second seed in the NFC and a playoff bye, though the team would need a win or a Saints loss in week 17 to lock that in.

For the Vikings, a division title is still attainable with a win on Monday, though they would need the Packers to lose in Detroit next week as well.

Not since week 17 of the 2015 season has so much been on the line. That year, both teams were in playoff position, but the game decided the division title and a home playoff game. The Packers lost that contest at Lambeau Field, 20-13, sending them to Washington for the Wild Card round while the Vikings hosted the Seattle Seahawks. (Don’t bring up Blair Walsh’s missed field goal in that game around anyone wearing purple.)

So with major seeding ramifications, Monday’s game will be a must-watch. Here’s how and when to tune in.
