The final Sunday of the 2019 NFL regular season is here! It is week 17, the only day of the year when all 32 NFL teams are all in action on the same day.
With that glut of 16 games in a single day often comes craziness. Some teams are resting players for the playoffs, while others are fighting for seeding in the postseason. Still others are trying to gain a little momentum heading into the offseason or are trying to save coaches' jobs. Outside of week one, week 17 usually has the most surprising results of any all season.
For the Green Bay Packers, there are just three remotely relevant games. First, they must take care of business against the Detroit Lions. Do that and they earn the second seed and a playoff bye. If they do not, they need the Carolina Panthers to upset the New Orleans Saints to hold on to the 2 seed. If the Green and gold do win, then they will hope for a Seahawks victory over the 49ers, which would give the Packers home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
