The Green Bay Packers are hardly playing like a team with a playoff bye on the line on Sunday. Week 17 sees the team playing the 3-11-1 Detroit Lions and able to clinch a bye with a win, but the Lions lead 7-0 early in the second quarter. And the Packers’ ability to move the football consistently on offense just took a bit of a hit with an injury.

Center Corey Linsley suffered an injury to his back in the second quarter, and the team announced that he is questionable to return in the game. Lucas Patrick has stepped in at center for Linsley for the time being. Linsley walked to the locker room on his own, but looked uncomfortable while doing so. Stay tuned to see if he is able to return to the game.

Patrick may be getting a bit of an audition for a job in this game. He just received a new two-year contract extension on Saturday, and he may be in line for a starting job at guard next season if the team does not re-sign Bryan Bulaga to a new contract.

The Packers trail the Lions 7-0 in the second quarter.
