The first half of Sunday’s matchup between Washington and the Green Bay Packers is in the books. Green Bay holds the early advantage, scoring 14 points, all in the first quarter.
Aaron Jones drew first blood, scoring on a 4-yard run on the Packers’ opening drive. That touchdown was Jones’ first since Week 10. However, it was not his only highlight of the first half, as he later broke off a 42-yard run to set up Green Bay in Washington territory.
As for the defense, the Packers kept Washington from moving the chains until midway through the second quarter. Dwayne Haskins has spent most of the afternoon under duress, taking three sacks for 20 total yards lost.
