One of the most ridiculous things in NFL media circles recently is the consistent attack on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ leadership qualities. A select few media outlets seem to enjoy taking comments from Rodgers’ former Packers teammates and spinning them into a narrative about how the two-time MVP is a bad teammate or a poor leader.
Most of the comments that lead to these narratives come from one of two or three sources. Meanwhile, there are far more other players who show their support for Rodgers and their appreciation for their relationship with him, but they don’t make the headlines.
So today, let’s make sure that Jordy Nelson does make some headlines for his interview defending Rodgers against the foolishness being spread by these bad apples. If anyone would know Rodgers best, it’s the receiver who caught more passes and more touchdowns from him than anyone else.
Also, if our final curd of the week is to be believed, I might live forever. Enjoy.

NFL Draft 2019: Ed Oliver can be a special pass rusher at next level - SBNation.com
If Oliver falls to the Packers at 12, they may need to take him. His physical tools are unreal, and he projects as an Aaron Donald type. His best fit is probably at 3-technique, where Mike Daniels currently plays, but Diesel is only signed through 2019.
