After a long Memorial Day weekend, the Green Bay Packers got back to work on Tuesday for the start of their second week of Organized Team Activities practices. On Wednesday, they are taking practice outside once again, working at Clarke Hinkle Field for an open practice starting at 12:05 PM Central time.
When the Packers held their first open practice a week ago, fans got their first look at the team’s depth chart at present, which had a few notable revelations. Perhaps the most important of those is Billy Turner lining up as the starting right guard — the free agent arrival appears slated to play inside, at least for the 2019 season. On the opposite side of the ball, the Packers have one rookie who is working with the ones: safety Darnell Savage, the 21st overall draft pick.
Now that we have our first look at the team behind us, today’s practice will be worth watching to see if last week’s lineup stays consistent into week two or if there are any significant changes.
As always, stay tuned to Acme Packing Company for updates, news, and analysis of all the offseason workouts as Matt LaFleur’s team continues to develop.
