While Green Bay Packers fans wait a few more days for their week two game, a pair of NFC South teams will get the second week of the 2019 season underway on Thursday Night Football this evening.
The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers both struggled in 2018, finishing 7-9 and 5-11 respectively. Tampa has a new head coach this year, moving on from Dirk Koetter and hiring Bruce Arians out of retirement.
The Panthers are sticking with Ron Rivera for a ninth year, as he has flipped back and forth between double-digit wins and sub-.500 seasons in the past six seasons. If that trend holds, the Panthers will be back near the top of the division again this season, but with the New Orleans Saints in their way, that will be no easy task.
Join APC here as we tune in for the start of week two.
